Details

Whether it was The Distance's self-released demo (which was later released on vinyl by Takeover Records), the debut EP on Bridge 9 titled Your Closest Enemies, the 3-way-split 7" with Outbreak and Some Kind of Hate, or the more recent split with With Honor, you'd have to be living in a hole to have not been knocked on your ass by these Connecticut natives. Not afraid to bring other elements to the table, but keeping their hardcore roots close to their side, The Distance should have no problem winning over any fan of the various sub-genres that the punk rock community has to offer. Participating on national tours throughout 2003 and 2004 with the hottest bands hardcore has to offer like Comeback Kis and With Honor, along with appearances on several major festivals, The Distance have wasted no time gaining exposure and spilling their guts to anyone with open ears. Taking the last half of 2004 and beginning of 2005 away from the road, The Distance took a much deserved break from the hectic life of touring, but have returned from their hiatus with the same mindset as day one and are ready to once again pummel anyone in their path. 2005 marks the Think Fast! debut for The Distance, entitled "If You Lived Here You'd Be Home Already," featuring two new tracks (which are already being called the band's best material to date!), as well as the original demo and split 7" remastered, exclusive covers and live tracks from the legendary CBGB's...13 songs in all!
